CORONAS DE PORCELANA
Este tipo de restauración, está indicado cuando existe gran la destrucción de diente y no es posible instalar una incrustación.
CORONAS DE CIRCONIO
Estas coronas (fundas) llevan un material muy fuerte en el interior, el circonio, éstas se utilizan en los casos en donde se necesita reforzar la estructura interna de la corona dental (funda). Bien sea por el tipo de mordida o por las fuerzas que recibe el diente que será restaurado.

¿Qué es la Odontología Conservadora?
El tratamiento de odontología conservadora que prolongarán la vida útil de las piezas dentales afectadas y permitirán que el paciente pueda sonreír y masticar, por mucho más tiempo. Se ocupa de la restauración de los tejidos duros del diente que han sido destruidos por los siguientes motivos: • Caries. • Traumatismos. • Alteraciones en el desarrollo dentario: pueden ser hereditarias o no. Hacen que el esmalte o la dentina sean más frágiles. Entre los tratamientos de odontología conservadora encontramos: RESTAURACIONES DE COMPOSITE Con estas el dentista podrá sustituir tejido dental perdido, bien sea por una caries o por una fractura dental ENDODONCIAS O TRATAMIENTOS DE LOS CONDUCTOS RADICULARES Este tratamiento es comúnmente conocido como “matar el nervio del diente”, con este tratamiento el endodoncista será capaz de desinfectar el interior del diente, que se ha contaminado por la presencia de una caries avanzada o por una fractura dental. INCRUSTACIONES DE COMPOSITE Las incrustaciones de composite son un tratamiento muy conservador, cuando son comparados con las coronas dentales (fundas), pero a la vez protegen mucho más al diente que una restauración de composite muy grande, disminuyendo el riesgo de fractura a largo plazo. Por lo general, son utilizados en dientes con tratamiento de endodoncia. INCUSTRACIONES DE PORCELANA Al igual que las incrustaciones de composite, estas también son conocidas con el nombre de endocoronas. Las incrustaciones de porcelana tienen las mismas ventajas que las incrustaciones de composite, solo que al ser realizadas en porcelana, pueden perdurar en perfecto estado, por un periodo de tiempo superior que las de composite. INCRUSTACIONES DE DISILICATO Se trata de un material cerámico de alta resistencia, producido a partir de un proceso de control de nucleación y cristalización del vidrio a través de calor. Es un sistema versátil y con capacidad de pulido, por lo que ofrece restauraciones con alta estética y materiales muy resistentes.
